北京林业大学教授、博导，美国密歇根州立大学博士后、访问学者，新加坡南洋大学学士、荣誉学士，新加坡家具协会现代化的创始人，曾任两届亚洲家具联合会会长。

Lin is a professor and doctoral supervisor of Beijing Forestry University, a post-doctor and visiting scholar of American Michigan State University, the scholar of Singaporean Nanyang University and the founder of modernizing the Furniture Association of Singapore. Lin acted as the president of CAFA twice.
